#1 Question We Get
To better help you with sizes, please read the descriptions below. I hope this explains it in a little more.
Let's talk sizes....
If you’re new to the idea of getting a t-shirt quilt made, don’t worry! It’s a fun and rewarding process and we think you will love the end results.
The best part about having us make you a t-shirt quilt is that it’s a great way to use all those shirts from places you’ve visited, events you’ve attended and any other occasion where you’ve purchased a t-shirt. Or you can just use shirts that are just sitting in your closet collecting dust and have us turn them into something fantastic. Plus, it’s a great way to keep memories alive.
But here is where it people get stuck. The number 1 question people ask us, is how many will I need? We make quilts from 12 shirts all the way to 42 shirts. The descriptions below should help you decide on what size would make the best quilt for your needs.
I’ve tried to compare regular bed sizes to the sizes of our quilts the best I can. Most our quilts will have a at least a 12″ drop on the sides. Some will have shorter and some longer, but because of the way our quilts are constructed, it’s difficult to get an exact bedding size match. Below will give you a good idea of how our quilt sizes compare to standard bed sizes.
These descriptions are for our Traditional or Framed Quilts. Our Economy Style quilts come out much smaller and our Boxed Style quilts come out a few inches larger.
